Hyderabad: The Kothur police arrested a realtor on charges of forgery and cheating people by creating fake property documents of plots and selling them, police said on Wednesday.

The suspect identified as Sai Sudhakar Naidu, who allegedly floated Mary Suvarnabhoomi Real Estate Company few years ago, allegedly started cheating people. Police said that he created fake sale deeds of the plots in Kothur, on the city outskirts, and sold them to unsuspecting victims and fraudulently earned several crores.

Recently, he allegedly blackmailed and threatened a woman with her private pictures. It is learnt that nearly 40 cases have been booked against him in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh until now.
Following a complaint, the Kothur police booked a case and arrested him.
