Nirmal: Forest Minister Allola Indrakaran Reddy termed the repeal of the three farm laws by the Union government as a victory for the agrarian community.

In a press statement, Indrakaran said that the repeal of the three laws is the outcome of the year-long and nationwide protests by the farmers against the Union government. It’s a victory of the farmers. The protests staged using democratic ways forced the Centre to terminate the laws, which were anti-farmers in nature.

The Minister further observed that the one-day long Maha Dharna staged by Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao in Hyderabad on Thursday drove the Union government to abrogate the laws.

The TRS government would always support the farmers and would continue to fight for them, he stated. He congratulated the farmers on the occasion.
