Hyderabad: The second day of the Red Lorry Film Festival 2025, organised by BookMyShow, brought together filmmakers, actors and movie lovers for a day filled with screenings, masterclasses and discussions.

The day began with a masterclass by cinematographer Venkat C Dilip, who spoke about the transition from film to digital technology. He explained how VFX, CGI and AI are transforming filmmaking. Later, director V N Aditya discussed the importance of lighting, sound and framing in creating emotional and powerful scenes.

A major highlight was the screening of Happy Days, directed by Sekhar Kammula. The filmmaker, known for Fidaa and Love Story, shared behind-the-scenes stories and talked about how filmmaking has evolved over the years.

On the other hand, Actor Shiva Balaji launched his new music album, Godavarikae Soggani. His energetic presence and the album’s soulful songs delighted the audience present.

The festival also featured screenings of many classic and popular films, including Nene Raju Nene Mantri, Pushpak Vimanam, Maya Bazaar, Magadheera and Aditya 369. Bollywood films like Yaadon Ki Baarat and Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak brought nostalgia, while international films such as Highway 65, Heat and Cold Wallet added a global touch.
