Reddy community demands MLC Teenmaar Mallanna’s resignation

Warn that the MLC will not be allowed to move around in Telangana if such comments were repeated by him

KARIMNAGAR: The Telangana Reddy Joint Action Council has demanded that MLC Chinthapandu Naveen alias Teenmar Mallanna resign from his post for his derogatory comments against the Reddy community.

Condemning Mallanna’s remarks, the JAC members warned that he would not be allowed to move around Telangana if such comments were repeated.

The Reddy JAC leaders led by district president Vancha Sudarshan Reddy on Wednesday lodged a complaint with the Additional DCP here seeking action against Teenmar Mallanna for making derogatory comments against the Reddy community.

They pointed out that he abused the community using filthy language, for which video evidence was available.

Mallanna, who was elected as MLC, took oath in the Council to give equal priority to all castes and take steps for the development with the support of all the sections. People of both Telugu-speaking States were well aware of the MLC. How Mallanna, who used to seek money for tea on his YouTube channel, amassed hundreds of crores would be exposed, they said, and advised BCs not to fall into Mallanna’s trap.

They wanted the State government and Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy to take action against Mallanna and make him step down from the MLC post.

The JAC leaders said they would meet the Council Chairman and lodge a complaint against the MLC.
