Renewal of applications for National Scholarships last date announced
The scholarships will be applicable for all students who have passed Intermediate Public Examinations-2024 for fresh applications and students who were earlier selected can apply for renewal for the academic year 2024-25.
Hyderabad: The last date for fresh and renewal of applications of the national scholarships is October 31, 2024, Ministry of Education, Central Sector of Scholarship Scheme for College and University Students of National Scholarship, on Monday announced. The scholarships will be applicable for all students who have passed Intermediate Public Examinations-2024 for fresh applications and students who were earlier selected can apply for renewal for the academic year 2024-25.
The last date for verification of the Institute Nodal Officer (INO) is November 15, 2024 and students can apply through online (http://scholarships.gov.in).
Students who missed to apply for renewal of their applications online on NSP will be allowed to apply for renewal of scholarships for subsequent year, if they fulfil eligibility condition for renewal. The OTR ID of these applicants will be generated by the NIC-NSP and will be sent to their registered mobile number.
The applicants then need to approach the Ministry with valid documents to ascertain their eligibility for the renewal, and after verifying, the Ministry will make them eligible for renewal in the academic year 2024-25, press release said.
