Hyderabad: A renovated operation theatre complex consisting of three theatres and 10 operation tables were inaugurated at the revamped GHMC block at Osmania General Hospital (OGH) on Wednesday. Apart from the operation theatres, a 22-bed post-operative ward facility for patients was also thrown open.
“The operation theatres will now enable orthopaedics and surgical gastroenterology departments to perform surgeries and give treatment to the post-operative patients in the renovated operation theatre complex,” OGH Superintendent Dr B Nagender said. Civil Surgeon RMO Dr B Sheshadri, other senior RMOs, department heads and faculty were present.
