Karimnagar: In the wake of the Covid pandemic, 73rd Republic Day celebrations were held low profile in the erstwhile Karimnagar district on Tuesday.
Ministers, MLCs, MLAs, Collectors, police officials and other public representatives hoisted national flags in their respective officies. BC Welfare and Civil Supplies Minister Gangula Kamalakar unfurled tricolor at Telangana Bhavan in Thigalaguttapalli and at his camp office.
Collectors RV Karnan (Karimnagar), G Ravi (Jagtial), Sangeeta Satyanarayana (Peddapalli) and Anurag Jayanthi (Rajanna-Sircilla) hoisted national flags in their respective offices. Police Commissioners V Satyanarayana (Karimnagar) and S Chandrashekhar Reddy (Ramagundam), Superintendent of Police Rahul Hegde (Rajanna-Sircilla) and Sindhu Sharma (Jagtial) unfurled national flags in their offices.
