Republic Day honours: Telangana police officers awarded for distinguished and gallant service
On Republic Day, several Telangana police officers were honoured with prestigious awards. MGS Prakash Rao and Annu Damodar Reddy received the President’s Medal for Distinguished Services.
Hyderabad: On the occasion of Republic Day, several officers of the Telangana police are being presented awards.
The President’s Medal for Distinguished Services awardees are MGS Prakash Rao (Additional SP, ISW Intelligence Hyderabad) and Annu Damodar Reddy (SI of Police, CI Cell Intelligence, Hyderabad).
The Medal for Meritorious Service goes to B Sumathi, (IGP SIB Intelligence Hyderabad), P Venkat Ramulu (Commandant 13th Battalion TGSP), A Bhanu Murthy (Additional Commandant – 8th Battalion TGSP), M Shankar ( DSP, EOW CID), KVM Prasad (DSP, TGCSB), C Vamshi Mohan Reddy ( DSP. PCS & S Hyderabad), T Laxmi (DSP PTC Amberpet), V Purshotam Reddy (RI of Police 5 th Battalion TGSP), B Yellaiah (SI of Police Vemulawada PS), Syed Abdul Kareem (SI of Police CI Cell Intelligence, Hyderabad) and B Anandam (ASI Pegadapalli PS Jagtial).
The Medal for Meritorious Service awardees are Burranolla Renua (WHG – 130 Greyhounds), Masaram Ravi (HG – 3- Greyhounds) and Pittakala Jangaiah (HG – 62 Greyhounds) while the Medal for Gallantry awardee is Marri Venkat Reddy (Head Constable, Cyberabad police).
