Karimnagar: Former minister and Siddipet MLA T Harish Rao on Sunday said if there was a university of lies, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy would be the most eligible person to be awarded the first PhD from that varsity.

Speaking to reporters in Huzurabad on Sunday, he said that except lies, the Chief Minister had nothing else to say.

Citing the controversy over the proposed Pharma Village, Harish Rao said even while local people were agitating against the project, Revanth Reddy, who issued a gazette notification for the Pharma Village on July 19, was lying that it was an industrial corridor that was planned.

Referring to the CM’s statement that the land in Lagacherla was infertile, Harish Rao said local farmers were showing their crops cultivated in the land.

Revanth Reddy, who promised to implement six guarantees after coming to power, had failed to implement any of those, and the people of Maharashtra had taught a befitting lesson to the Congress for deceiving the people of Telangana.

Stating there was no democracy in Telangana, the senior BRS leader said anarchy was prevailing across the State.

Harish Rao also demanded the State government to release the second installment of Dalit Bandhu scheme to beneficiaries by unfreezing their accounts.
