Revanth Reddy relies on fake BRS handle to target KCR on Dalit row
Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy courted controversy in the Assembly by citing a fake X handle to attack BRS chief K Chandrashekhar Rao. The account, attributed to a non-existent BRS leader, was quickly deactivated, prompting BRS spokesperson Manne Krishank to accuse Reddy of spreading falsehoods and branding him a “fake news peddler.”

Hyderabad: In his bid to target BRS chief and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy cited a fake X handle in the Assembly without verifying its veracity. The account was deactivated within minutes.
While alleging that the BRS chief directed his cadre to cleanse the area near his Erravelli residence after a Congress protest as Dalits had stepped there, Revanth Reddy cited an X handle in the name of BRS ‘international general secretary’ Sandhya Rao (@SandhyaRaoBRS) to support his claim.
However, the BRS has neither the post of “international general secretary” nor a leader named Sandhya Rao. The account was subsequently deactivated.
BRS spokesperson Manne Krishank exposed the false narrative, accusing Revanth Reddy of peddling fake news using a fake X handle created by the Congress IT cell. He called Revanth Reddy “a true fake news peddler.”
“Worst CM in Indian History. Shame on you, Revanth Reddy,” he posted on X.
