Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Monday set a 100-day deadline for completing development works at the famous Medaram temple and instructed authorities to finalise Master Plans for both Basara and Medaram temples to ensure better facilities for devotees.
At a review meeting here, the Chief Minister said he would personally visit the Medaram temple this week.
He stressed that the temple should be developed in a planned manner with all amenities in place before the start of the Medaram Jatara in January 2026, which is expected to draw nearly two crore devotees.
Apart from parking and streamlined entry and exit points, officials were directed to prepare plans for the construction of check-dams to store water from Jampanna Vagu near the temple.
