Hyderabad: BRS MLAs KP Vivekanand, Dr. K. Sanjay along with senior leaders Gellu Srinivas Yadav and Satish Reddy accused Chief Minister Revanth Reddy of attempting to target BRS working president KT Rama Rao with political vengeance.
They alleged that Revanth Reddy was resorting to such acts to divert attention from the promises that were made to the people and then broken.
Addressing a press conference at Telangana Bhavan, Vivekanand stated that Revanth Reddy was not happy with the growing popularity of Rama Rao and hence was making baseless allegations out of jealousy.
He claimed that Revanth Reddy’s popularity was waning, leading him to launch personal attacks on BRS leaders.
The MLAs highlighted the incident where police and excise officials conducted a search at the residence of Raj Pakala, without a search warrant.
They accused the officials of harassing Raj Pakala’s family members and criticized Revanth Reddy for his new drama, stating that he was trying to tarnish Rama Rao’s image by falsely implicating him. They mentioned that Raj Pakala had recently built a new house and hosted a housewarming party.
Rama Rao and his wife were not present at the party in question. The MLAs accused Revanth Reddy of suffering from “KTR Syndrome” and “KTR Phobia,” and claimed that he was using diversion tactics to cover up his own failures.
They alleged that Revanth Reddy was conspiring with BJP leaders Bandi Sanjay and Raghunandan Rao, and accused Bandi Sanjay of acting as Revanth Reddy’s deputy.
The MLAs vowed to keep a record of the officials who overstepped their authority and warned that they would take action against them once they returned to power.
