Hyderabad: Tensions escalated near a private villa community in Raidurgam following alleged police attempts to forcefully enter the villas of BRS leaders and their relatives without search warrants on Sunday.

About 20 BRS leaders were arrested in the incident. When the police were asked for a search warrant, they produced it subsequently, allowing them to search the house in the presence of an advocate and a team of BRS leaders.
