Khammam: Former MP Nama Nageswara Rao expressed deep shock over the massive fire that broke out at a chemical factory in the industrial estate of Pashamailaram in Sangareddy district on Monday.
He said that it was unfortunate that many lives were lost and many were seriously injured in the accident. The government should provide immediate assistance to the families of the workers, announce ex-gratia to the families of the deceased workers and provide better treatment to the injured.
Nageswara Rao extended his condolences to the family members of the workers who died in this accident. He recalled that a series of fire accidents occurred in several places in the State in recent months, causing loss of life and property. Safety standards should be reviewed in all industries across the State to prevent such incidents from happening in the future, he suggested.
