Nirmal: Parents of Swathi Priya alleged that the management of RGUKT-Basar drove their daughter to end life.

Speaking to the media, the bereaved parents held the management of the university responsible for the death of Swathi Priya. They claimed that their daughter was not a timid person to die by suicide and alleged that the faculty of the institution forced her to take the extreme step. They wanted a probe into the incident and action against those responsible.

Meanwhile, in a suicide note purportedly written by Swati, she said none was responsible for her death. She urged everyone not to touch her mobile phone except for her sister. She stated that her sister would respond to calls and messages. She added that while some hated her, there were others who loved her
