Rice distributed to private school teachers in Adilabad

Municipal chairperson Jogu Premender at the distribution of 25 kgs of rice to private teachers in Adilabad on Wednesday. District Educational Officer Ravinder Reddy who was present at the programme said that steps were being taken to provide the relief to all the eligible teachers

Adilabad: Adilabad Municipal chairperson Jogu Premender said the financial aid and 25 kg of rice would provide some relief to teachers working in private schools.

Speaking at a function where he distributed rice to teachers in Adilabad on Wednesday, Premender stated that the government was leaving no stone unturned in supporting the sectors affected by the Covid-19. He said that it was offering the relief helping the families of the teachers who lost livelihood due to the disease. He added that the aid was bringing smiles to the faces of the teachers.

District Educational Officer Ravinder Reddy who was present at the programme said that steps were being taken to provide the relief to all the eligible teachers. He stated that over 8,000 teachers across the erstwhile Adilabad district had applied for availing the scheme. He advised them not to worry if the aid was delayed.
