Visakhapatnam: Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited-Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (RINL-VSP) won one Par Excellence’ award and two Excellence’ awards at the International Convention on Quality Control Circles (ICQCC-2021), organized by “Quality Circle Forum of India (QCFI)”, being held at Hyderabad from November 24 to 27. QC team Prerana’ of SMS department consisting of Ch Babu Rao, M Sailesh, M Durga Prasad, G Srinivasa Rao and T Prasad presented their case study on cleaning arrangement for scrubber gas channel’ and bagged the `Par Excellence’ award.

QC team Niyantran’ of RS&RS department consisting of S Venkateswarulu, J Satya Kumar, A Atchuta Ramaiah, V Bhogeswara Rao and K Srinivasa Rao presented their case study on setting device modification’ and bagged Excellence’ award. QC team Pragati’ of LC consisting of T Ramakrishna, Dipankar Dey, A Govinda Rao, S Srinivasarao and M Vasu presented their case study on development of ‘four stoke four-cylinder internal combustion engine prototype’ at skill development centre, TTI’ and bagged Excellence’ award.

RINL-VSP also bagged the Long Participation Award, which was received by Chief General Manager K. Srinivasa Rao on behalf of RINL. Chairman and Managing Director of RINL Atul Bhatt congratulated all the winners for bringing laurels to the company. All the Directors of RINL-VSP applauded the efforts of the participants from RINL.
