Rishabh Pant wants to shift base to Uttarakhand, seeks CM Dhami assures support
Cricketer Rishabh Pant has sought Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami's help in purchasing land to build a house and shift his base from Delhi. Dhami assured Pant of all possible support and said officials would contact him soon

Dehradun: Cricketer Rishabh Pant sought help in purchasing land in his home state Uttarakhand in a late-night social media post addressing Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.
Dhami on Saturday assured him of all possible support, saying instructions were being issued to officials in this regard.
In a social media post late Friday, Pant said he wanted to build a house in Uttarakhand. “Hello sir how’s you ??? It’s a long time for me especially being local from Uttarakhand. I have been trying to buy land to shift my base from Delhi to Uttarakhand and I couldn’t find anything…” he wrote.
“… I wanna move back to my native place to help and built around Uttarakhand and I want to shift back to my Pahadi people please look into this matter it’s been 3 years didn’t get any land awaiting your answer [sic],” the wicketkeeper-batsman posted on X.
Dhami responded in a post the next morning, praising Pant for his love for his motherland.
“Dear Rishabh, you are the pride of Uttarakhand. With your splendid performance and achievements, you have taken the name of Devbhoomi across the country and the world. Your love for your motherland and your sentiment of returning here to contribute are highly commendable.
“Regarding the matter you have raised, instructions are being issued to the concerned officials. They will soon contact you and ensure all possible cooperation in accordance with the rules,” the chief minister said on X.
Pant is originally a resident of Roorkee in Uttarakhand’s Haridwar district.
