Road washed away, crops damaged in Sangareddy due to heavy rains
Heavy rains in Sangareddy’s Saidapur village washed away a key road linking Vikarabad and Sangareddy, disrupting traffic. Over 40 acres of crops were damaged, prompting MLA Chintha Prabhakar to demand compensation for farmers.

Sangareddy: Traffic between parts of Sangareddy and Vikarabad districts was disrupted after a road at Saidapur village in Kondapur mandal was washed away on Saturday morning following heavy rains. Agriculture crops in over 40 acres were damaged in Saidapur.
The road connects Sadasivapet town in Sangareddy with villages in Mominpet mandal of Vikarabad district.
Sangareddy MLA Chintha Prabhakar visited the spot and examined the damage. After interacting with farmers, he directed engineering department officials to begin road restoration works without delay to ensure connectivity. He also asked agriculture department officials enumerate the crop losses.
The BRS MLA demanded that the government extend support to farmers by releasing immediate compensation. He assured that he would always stand by farmers in his constituency.
