Hyderabad: Principal Secretary to ITE&C Department, Jayesh Ranjan, inaugurated Rockford Overseas Consultants at Erramanzil Road, Banjara Hills, here on Sunday. Additional Commissioner of Police, Shikha Goel, and others also participated in the inaugural.
Speaking on the occasion, Jayesh Ranjan cited instances of youth aspiring to go abroad for further studies being taken for a ride by some consultants and advised students to take guidance either from Telangana Overseas Manpower Company Ltd (TOMCOM) or credible organisations.
Shikha Goel said India has a talent pool and it has to be nurtured well. “We must impart value based and responsible guidance to the youth. Indians have abundant talent,” she said.
Rockford Overseas Consultants CEO, Divya Jayaraman said students aspiring to go abroad for studies today lack responsible guidance that could make them feel at home, study well and build a career. “With this aim in mind we are foraying into a new terrain, which we until now have been outsourcing,” she added.
