Jagitial: A rowdy sheeter Thota Shekhar was murdered by unknown persons in a fast food center in Jagitial town later on Friday night.
A resident of Hanumanvada of Jagitial town, Shekhar was found dead with multiple knife injuries in PK fast food center located in Beet bazar area on Saturday morning.
Since beer and other liquor bottles were found at the murder spot, the deceased person was believed to have participated in a party with others in the fast food center. After consuming liquor, there was an argument between the accused and victim.
As the argument turned serious, the accused killed Shekhar with a knife used to cut chicken in a fast food center, police suspected. Old rivalry might have the reason for the murder. Earlier, murder attempt was also made on Shekhar, who works as a centering worker.
Knowing about the incident, police led by DSP Prakash visited the spot and began investigation by registering the case. Boy was shifted to Jagtial hospital for postmortem.
