Rs 16 lakh approved for Basti Dawakhana at KCR Nagar in Siddipet

When CM KCR handed over the houses to beneficiaries in December last, Finance Minister T Harish Rao requested the CM to grant funds for Basti Dawakhana

Siddipet: The State government has sanctioned Rs 16 lakh for construction of a Basti Dawakhana at KCR Nagar, the newly constructed double bedroom housing colony at Narsapur near Siddipet town.

When Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao inaugurated the colony and handed over the houses to beneficiaries in December last, Finance Minister T Harish Rao requested the Chief Minister to grant funds for Basti Dawakhana besides allotting staff to the hospital.

In another development, with 48 Primary Health Sub-Centres across Siddipet being run in rented buildings across the district, the government sanctioned Rs 16 lakh for construction of the sub-centres following a request by the Finance Minister.
