‘Rs 5,845 crore financial aid given to ryots in erstwhile Warangal district’

Warangal: Stating that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has made agriculture a profitable occupation and made ‘farmer the king by implementing many welfare schemes including the investment support scheme under Rythu Bandhu, Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao said a total of Rs 50,000 crore had been credited to the bank accounts of a total of 64 lakh farmers till Monday since the launch of the scheme in 2018.
“As part of the Rythu Bandhu scheme, a total of Rs 5,845 crore were deposited in the accounts of farmers of erstwhile Warangal district. While the farmers of Jangaon received Rs 1481.73 crore, farmers in Warangal district got Rs 940.51 crore and Hanamkonda district farmers got Rs 916.79 crore. Farmers of Jayashankar Bhupalpally received Rs 756 crore, while farmers of Mahbubabad got Rs 1273 crore, and farmers of Mulugu were given Rs 481.96 crore,” Rao said in a statement here on Monday. He urged the farmers to continue with the Rythu Bandhu Sambaralu, following Covid appropriate behaviour at the same time.
