RS Praveen Kumar slams BJP MLA for shepherd’s death in Asifabad
BRS leader said the inaction of both the present administration and the legislator has cost Suman his life and demanded that they learn a lesson from the tragedy.
Kumram Bheem Asifabad: BRS leader Dr RS Praveen Kumar alleged that the negligence of local BJP MLA Dr Palvai Harish Babu led to the death of a tribal youngster who was swept away while crossing a flooded stream between Dimda and Kethini villages recently.
He visited Kethini village in Chintalamanepalli mandal on Saturday and consoled the family members of the deceased shepherd, Sedmeka Suman (18).
Dr Praveen Kumar criticised the State government and the MLA for failing to construct a high-level bridge across the stream, despite funds having been sanctioned during the previous government’s tenure.
He said the inaction of both the present administration and the legislator has cost Suman his life and demanded that they learn a lesson from the tragedy.
Sirpur (T) Assembly constituency BRS convenor Lendugure Shyam Rao, Chintalamanepalli mandal convener Gomase Lahanchu, former councillor Nakka Manohar, and other local leaders, including Munna Khan, Shakeer, Ade Srini and Ramtenki Naveen were present.
