Rural development is country’s development: Vemula Prashanth
Prashanth Reddy said Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao's focus is on rural development and developing village gardens is part of that.

Nizamabad: The development of the country and States are linked to the development of villages, and realising this, the TRS government has implemented several rural developmental schemes, said R&B Minister Prashanth Reddy said on Sunday. The government, he said, was striving hard for the development of rural areas in the State.
Participating in various developmental programmes at Velpur and Bheemgal mandals, the Minister inaugurated a Rythu Vedika and village garden at Pachala Nadukuda; Vaikunta dammam and village garden at Sunketa, laid foundation stone for check dam on Pedda Vagu stream between Kukunuru and Sunket villages apart from laying foundation stone for Peddamma temple at Velpur. Later, the Minister participated in ‘vigraha prathishta’ at Borra Hanuman temple statue installation programme at Bheemgal.
Prashanth Reddy said Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s focus is on rural development and developing village gardens is part of that. The Minister instructed the officials to grow crotons, flowers and fruit plants and develop walking tracks in these gardens so that villagers can get fresh air and improve their health.
In Nizamabad district, of the total 618 village gardens of which foundation stone laid for, 559 gardens were completed. The Minister ordered officials to develop Pachala Nadukuda village garden as a tourist spot in the district, due to having a check dam near the garden. The Minister thanked the Chief Minister for allocating large number of funds for rural development.
In this programme Sarpanches Swetha Gangareddy, Mallel Lakshman, Endowment Commissioner Somaiah, DRDO PD Srinivas, Armoor RDO Srinivas, Tahsildars Sathish Reddy (Velpur) and Rajender (Bheemgal), Velpur and Bheemgal MPDO Kamalakar and Srinivas participated in the programme.
