Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy announced that the annual Sadar Sammelan would be organised officially by the State government. Speaking at the Sadar Sammelan in NTR Stadium here on Sunday, the Chief Minister said the Congress had nominated Anil Kumar Yadav as Rajya Sabha MP to empower the Yadav community politically in the State. The Congress would continue to provide more political opportunities to Yadav community in the future, he said.

“Had former MP Anjan Kumar Yadav been elected from Musheerabad constituency, he would have been a Minister. Yadav community should make good use of the opportunities provided to them,” Revanth Reddy said.

“The Yadav community used to grow cattle fodder on the banks of River Musi catchment area. Let us rejuvenate River Musi, which has now turned into a waste yard. The government would improve the living standards of people living in the Musi catchment areas,” he said.
