Safety Awareness Ride promotes road safety and emergency preparedness in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Around 100 bikers from the city came together for a Safety Awareness Ride to highlight the importance of road safety and emergency preparedness. Organized by Yashoda Hospital, Somajiguda, the event brought together biking clubs from across the city, including Telangana Women Moto Bikers, Biker Knights Hyderabad, Riders Club, TRCR, and others.
The ride, led by G.Vinay Kiran, Vikhyat Khatri, Mohd Shammem, Shweta Shukla Roy, Dr. Roshan Reddy , Raj kumar , Nalini , Phani Raja Naidu commenced at Begumpet Metro station and concluded at Yashoda Hospital, Somajiguda. Participants adhered to traffic rules, wore safety gear, and showcased responsible riding principles, emphasizing the importance of road safety for all.
As part of the event, Yashoda Hospital conducted a CPR and first aid training session led by Dr. Kiran, Head of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Kiran highlighted the significance of equipping bikers with life-saving skills, stating, “Empowering individuals with essential emergency response knowledge is crucial, especially for bikers who are often first responders in road accidents.”
