Sagar, Hanumanthu shine in Inspire carrom tournament

S Sagar and Bantu Hanumanthu won Level 5 and 4 titles respectively at the Inspire Series Non-Medalist Carrom Tournament in Hyderabad. Jagannathan Teja impressed with a strong win in Level 1

Hyderabad: S Sagar emerged champion in Level 5 of the Inspire Series fourth Non-Medalist Carrom Tournament, organized by Inspire Carrom Academy.

Sagar defeated Shabbir Ali 25-2, dominating the tournament, achieving a remarkable white slam and securing his second consecutive victory.

In Level 4, Bantu Hanumanthu won the title by defeating B Mahesh Kumar (BSNL) 25-7.

Mohd Habeeb clinched the Level 3 title, getting the better of B Veeralingam (LIC) 25-0.

Hari Krishna (NFC) won the Level 2 title by defeating Padmaraj 20-17.

Eighteen-year-old Jagannathan Teja showcased impressive skills to win the Level 1 title with a 25-13 win over K K Suresh.
