Sai Dedeepya and Arthi Muniyan win women’s doubles at Ash Tennis Academy

Hyderabad’s Y. Sai Dedeepya and Arthi Muniyan of TN won the women’s doubles title at Ash Tennis Academy, Hyderabad, defeating Saijayani Banerjee and Dhanvi Kale. The duo progressed through semifinals and pre-quarterfinals with strong victories

Hyderabad: Hyderabad girl Y. Sai Dedeepya, representing SER, Kolkata, and Arthi Muniyan of TN, representing ICF, Chennai, won the women’s doubles title at Ash Tennis Academy here.

Dedeepya and Arthi defeated Saijayani Banerjee of West Bengal and Dhanvi Kale of Gujarat 6-0, 6-2 in the final.


Earlier, in the semifinal, Dedeepya and Arthi scored a 6-2, 6-3 win against Shruti Nanajkar and Saiyette Varadkar of Maharashtra and a 6-2, 6-0 win against Arnavi Debnath of Assam and Shreya Gupta of Telangana.

In the pre-quarterfinal, the duo recorded a 7-6 (3), 6-2 win against Hasini Devunaboina and Sai Ananya Varanasi of Telangana.
