Saidabad police arrest auto driver for Singareni Colony murder
The Saidabad police arrested a 21-year-old auto-rickshaw driver for the alleged murder of Mohd. Fasi Ahmed Ameer in Singareni Colony. The murder weapon was recovered from Saroornagar Lake with HYDRAA's help, and the accused has been remanded in judicial custody
Hyderabad: The Saidabad police have arrested E Suman (21), an auto-rickshaw driver, for the alleged murder of Mohd. Fasi Ahmed Ameer, which was reported in Singareni Colony on August 4.
Police said Suman allegedly attacked the victim with a knife following a long-standing personal dispute before fleeing in an auto-rickshaw.
The murder weapon was later recovered from Saroornagar Lake with the help of the Disaster Response Force of HYDRAA. Police also seized the suspect’s clothes, auto-rickshaw and mobile phone.
The suspect was remanded in judicial custody.
