Saloni Batra’s character in ‘200 Hallo Ho’ will open minds, give hope
The film focuses on the aftermath of an incident and how it will raise an important issue in the society and tests people’s conscience.
The gorgeous Saloni Batra has enticed her audience in Bollywood films like ‘Taish’, ‘Uljhan – The Knot’, ‘Soni’ and ‘Parchayee’. A fitness freak, Saloni is back to amaze her audience with her upcoming role in Zee5 original web film ‘200 Hallo Ho’ that is all set to premiere on August 20. Directed by Sarthak Dasgupta, it is produced by Yoodlee Films.
Saloni’s character in her upcoming web film, we learnt, is one of the pivotal characters and is based on true events, challenging the stereotypical patriarchy of the society. The film focuses on the aftermath of an incident and how it will raise an important issue in the society and tests people’s conscience.
Saloni will be seen portraying the character of Purva Shahane, an activist and journalist who is courageous and confident. Her character believes in giving out her opinion strongly in front of everyone. The character has endured changes and seen many atrocities that women have gone through and now, it is time that women are treated equal to men, and, most importantly, be treated fairly as human beings.
