Hyderabad: Star couple Samantha and Naga Chaitanya’s separation on Saturday left fans heartbroken. Minutes after the actors confirmed the news with a post on their social media platforms, social media witnessed an influx of comments and memes from the fans, some expressing sadness over the news that they had never expected.

Meanwhile, Samantha disabled her comments section from making it visible to other users.

It all started when Samantha dropped “Akkineni” from all her social media accounts.

Among various theories doing rounds on the internet about their separation, it was reported that both the stars were reportedly planning to expand their family by welcoming a baby. Subsequently, the actors have been dodging questions from the media about their possible separation.

Recently, Samantha has refuted the rumours of leaving Hyderabad.

During the ask-me-anything session on Instagram, she replied to her fan stating that she would like to continue living in Hyderabad and the city has given her everything. Most recently, the actor skipped the dinner feast hosted by Chay marking the success of his film ‘Love Story’ which was attended by Aamir Khan and Nagarjuna, Akhil Akkineni alongside director Sekhar Kammula.

Ending their four-year journey of togetherness, on Saturday, both Sam and Chay announced their separation with a simple note, “After much deliberation and thought Chay and I have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths.”
