Sangareddy: Sangareddy Collector P Pravinya has served notices seeking explanations from 11 doctors who were found absent from duty without authorisation during a surprise inspection at Jogipet Area Hospital, located in Health Minister Damodara Rajanarasimha’s constituency, on Tuesday.
Reviewing arrangements for the gram panchayat elections across the district, the Collector had stopped at the hospital en route and discovered several staff, including 11 doctors, missing without prior information. She served notices seeking explanations from those absent.
Pravinya inspected various wards, interacted with patients on the services being provided and enquired about the facilities available at the hospital. Warning that strict action would be taken against anyone neglecting duties, the Collector directed staff to ensure timely delivery of healthcare services.
