Sangareddy: An elderly couple died, allegedly by consuming pesticide in their agriculture field at Jharasangam on Sunday evening.
The couple Bondili Prathap Singh (60) and Kalavathi (55) were running a hotel at Sri Kethaki Sangameshwara Swamy Temple in Jharasangam.
Since the business was not going well, the couple reportedly ran into losses. Worried over the future, they are said to have consumed pesticide in a bid to end life.
The doctors of the area hospital in Zaheerabad declared them brought dead when they were rushed to the hospital. A case was registered. A probe is on.
