Sangareddy MLA Chintha Prabhakar welcomes HC verdict on Kaleshwaram

The High Court has ruled that no action should be taken against BRS leaders K Chandrashekhar Rao and T Harish Rao based on the Justice PC Ghose commission report on alleged irregularities in the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project. BRS leaders across Medak district welcomed the verdict, calling it a vindication against Congress allegations.

Sangareddy: BRS leaders from across the erstwhile Medak district welcomed the High Court judgement on petitions filed by BRS leaders K Chandrashekhar Rao and T Harish Rao, challenging the Justice PC Ghose commission constituted by the Congress government on the alleged irregularities in the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project (KLIP) construction.

As the court said that no action should be taken based on the PC Ghose report against the two BRS leaders and officials, the BRS party celebrated the judgment.

Speaking on the occasion, Sangareddy MLA Chintha Prabhakar said that the verdict had exposed the Congress government led by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s lies on KLIP. He demanded Revanth to stop spreading false information on Kaleshwaram and take up the restoration of two damaged pillars.

Dubbak MLA Kotha Prabhakar Reddy observed that all the allegations made by Congress were proved to be conspiracy with the verdict. Former Medak MLA M Padma Devendar Reddy said that Kaleshwaram had changed the face of Telangana, but the Congress tried to mislead the people.

Narsapur MLA V Sunitha Lakshma Reddy, Zaheerabad MLA K Manik Rao, Andole former MLA Chanti Kranthi Kiran, former Narayankhed MLA M Bhupal Reddy also welcomed the High Court verdict.
