Sangareddy police solve rape case, nab two accused
The accused were produced before a Sangareddy court, which remanded them in judicial custody. The police did not reveal the names of the accused since investigation was still underway.

Sangareddy: The district police cracked the rape case reported at Mamidipally in Kandi mandal in the early hours of March 25 and nabbed two accused on Monday.
Speaking to news reporters in Sangareddy, SP Paritosh Pankaj said the victim and her husband were heading towards Patancheru from Sangareddy when he stopped the auto-rickshaw to attend to nature’s call near Mamidipally. The accused, who were consuming liquor close to the place, saw an opportunity to sexually exploit the woman. When they tried to pull the woman away, her husband confronted them. They beat him until he fell unconscious. They then took her away on their scooter and raped her multiple times. They also beat the woman before leaving her and fleeing the spot. The woman and her husband then called the police.
