Sangareddy: Two persons beat up their father to death at Brahmanapally village of Andole Mandal late on Wednesday night. The victim was identified as Golla Papaiah (60).
According to Jogipet Police, Papaiah owned nine acres of farmland in his village. When his four sons sat with him to finalise sharing of property between them recently, Papaiah suggested that the three younger sons give half-acre additional land to his eldest son Vittal. Disagreeing with his proposal, two younger sons, Krishna and Naresh, picked an argument with their father.
Naresh and Krishna again picked up an argument with Papaiah on Wednesday night and thrashed him, killing him on the spot. Vittal, who filed a case against his younger brothers, himself feared a serious threat to his life from his brothers. Police, who registered a case, launched a manhunt to nab Naresh and Krishna who are at large since the incident. The body was shifted to Area Hospital Jogipet for postmortem.
