Sanjay Dutt meets cancer patients at Basavatarakam Hospital in Hyderabad
Sanjay Dutt visited Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital and Research Institute in Hyderabad, where he interacted with patients, met doctors and shared his own cancer recovery journey. Nandamuri Balakrishna felicitated the actor during the visit.

Hyderabad: Star actor Sanjay Dutt on Monday visited Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital and Research Institute (BIACH&RI) and met recovering patients and visited several key departments of the hospital, including the PET-CT Unit, Radiation Oncology Department, Bone Marrow Transplant Unit, and the pediatric ward.
Accompanied by Chairman, BIACH&RI, Nandamuri Balakrishna, and his daughter Nara Brahmani, who is a member of the Trust Board of the Cancer Hospital, Sanjay Dutt interacted with the cancer patients and distributed fruits and gifts to children undergoing treatment. He also interacted with specialist doctors to understand the advanced treatment facilities available at the hospital.
Speaking on the occasion, Sanjay Dutt said that courage and mental strength are the most important weapons in fighting cancer. He shared that his mother had succumbed to cancer and that he himself was diagnosed with lung cancer a few years ago but successfully recovered through timely treatment.
On the occasion, actor Balakrishna felicitated Sanjay Dutt in a function that was attended by Senior cancer specialists, hospital staff, Trust Board Members, and others.
