In DPS Mahendra Hills (Feeder School of DPS Nacharam) all important festivals were celebrated with great pomp and show to foster inter-cultural learning experiences and to bring students closer to traditions and cultures and the beliefs associated with them.
To spread the message of humanity, universal love and tolerance, the school celebrated Christmas virtually amid pandemic.
The school took the initiative to design various innovative activities to celebrate Christmas in virtual classroom. Through these activities, the students were empowered to discover their authentic selves and learned the concepts as skills.
The school organised a Special Assembly — ‘Festive Fiesta’ to celebrate the true spirit of Christmas together with pre-primary students.
All the students in their colourful dresses and big smiles on their face added grace to the celebration. Skits, Christmas carols, dance presentation and melodious songs were enjoyed and applauded by all.
Santa Claus visited the virtual Assembly and greeted the tiny-tots. Showing their happiness, the children danced on a lively Christmas song. It was indeed a virtual treat for everyone.
