Santosh Nagar steel bridge and Moosarambagh bridge set to open soon

Two major bridges in Hyderabad, the Rs 620 crore Saidabad Steel Bridge and the Rs 52 crore Moosarambagh Bridge, are set to be inaugurated soon, creating a signal-free corridor and easing connectivity between key localities.

Hyderabad: The long-standing two major bridges, Saidabad Steel Bridge project and Moosarambagh Bridge, will be inaugurated soon, according to a press release.

The steel bridge built at a cost of Rs 620 crore aims to make a signal-free corridor from Nalgonda X Roads Junction to Owaisi Hospital junction. The 3.32 km long bridge covers Nalgonda X Roads, Chanchalguda, Saidabad, Santosh Nagar, IS Sadan and Owaisi Hospital Junction.

The high-level bridge across the Musi River at Moosarambagh connecting Amberpet and Malakpet would also be inaugurated shortly.

The bridge work and railing works were completed, and Amberpet-side road approach work, Malakpet-side retaining wall and road approach are in progress, it said. The length of the bridge is 220 metres and the cost is Rs 52 crore.

On Wednesday, GHMC commissioner RV Karnan along with ministers Ponnam Prabhakar, Mohammed Azharuddin inspected these two infra works.
