Sarpanch aspirant wins seat with two-vote majority in Peddapalli

Nagula Sharadha won the Chinnaodala sarpanch seat in Manthani mandal by a narrow margin of two votes. After multiple recounts requested by rival Yedla Padma, polling officials confirmed Sharadha as the winner, with 13 votes declared invalid

Peddapalli: A sarpanch aspirant from Chinnaodala in Manthani mandal won the seat by a narrow margin of two votes.

Nagula Sharadha, Yedla Padma and a few others contested the Chinnaodala sarpanch post. Sharadha secured 326 votes, while Padma polled 324. Thirteen votes were declared invalid.

Following a request by Padma, polling officials conducted multiple recounts and declared Sharadha the winner as the outcome remained unchanged.
