Sarpanch contestant found dead in Congress leader’s farmhouse in Sangareddy
Sangareddy: Valki Raju, a sarpanch contestant for Pippadpally, was found dead under suspicious circumstances near the farmhouse of Congress mandal president Balaji Narasimhulu. Police have registered a case, shifted the body for postmortem, and launched an investigation.

Sangareddy: A sarpanch contestant was found dead under suspicious circumstances at the farmhouse of the Congress mandal president of Raikode mandal on Monday.
The deceased, Valki Raju, who had filed his nomination for the Pippadpally sarpanch post, had gone to meet party mandal president Balaji Narasimhulu near the village on Sunday night to discuss election campaign strategy. However, he was found hanging from a tree near the house the next morning.
Both Narasimhulu and Raju were known to be close associates of Health Minister Damodara Rajanarasimha. The police have registered a case and shifted the body to the government hospital in Zaheerabad for postmortem. A probe is on.
