Sathwik Reddy wins juniors title at Brilliant Trophy chess tournament in Hyderabad

P Sathwik Reddy won the juniors title with a perfect score at the Brilliant Trophy chess tournament in Hyderabad. RVSS Ramanjaneyulu clinched the Open crown, while several boys and girls emerged winners across age categories. Nigama Sree and Siva Satyanarayana won special awards

Hyderabad: P Sathwik Reddy (Sri Gayatri e-Techno School, Manikonda) won the juniors title by scoring six points out of six rounds, while Vikyath Thallapally and Chetan Maale finished second and third with 5.5 points each in the Brilliant Trophy chess tournament at Brilliant Grammar High School, Dilsukhnagar, on Sunday.

In the Open category, RVSS Ramanjaneyulu won the event, while B Sreetej and D Sai Pavan secured second and third places with five points each out of six rounds.
