Satwiksairaj, Chirag enter Hong Kong Open doubles final

India’s top men’s doubles pair R. Satwiksairaj and Chirag Shetty stormed into the Hong Kong Open final after defeating Chinese Taipei’s Chen Cheng Kuan and Lin Bing-Wei 21-17, 21-15 in just 38 minutes. They next face China’s Liang Wei Keng and Wang Chang.

Hyderabad: R. Satwiksairaj and Chirag Shetty moved into the doubles final of the Hong Kong Open badminton championship on Saturday.

In the semifinal today, the Indian duo outplayed Chinese Taipei’s Chen Cheng Kuan and Lin Bing-Wei 21-17, 21-15 in just 38 minutes.


India’s two-time world championship medalists duo will now face sixth seeds Liang Wei Keng and Wang Chang of China in the final.
