SCB elevated corridor: Hyderabad Collector pledges transparent compensation for property owners

Hyderabad District Collector Harichandana Dasari assured property owners of transparent compensation for land acquisition linked to the elevated corridor project from Paradise Circle to Shamirpet ORR on State Highway-1.

Hyderabad: Hyderabad District Collector Harichandana Dasari on Friday assured transparent compensation for property owners whose properties will be affected by the elevated corridor from Paradise Circle to Shamirpet ORR on State Highway-1 (Rajiv Rahdari) in Secunderabad Cantonment.

A press release said a meeting was held as part of land acquisition process for the 18.70-km corridor from Paradise Junction to Shamirpet ORR Junction with property owners from Tirumalagiri, Kakaguda, Thokatta and Machabollaram.

During the meeting, the Collector highlighted that the elevated corridor project was strategically significant for reducing traffic, improving connectivity and strengthening urban infrastructure. She also explained government policies regarding compensation.
