Hyderabad: The Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) has bagged a national-level industry excellence award from the Institute of Engineers India (IEI) for maintaining high standards of business.
Union Minister of Heavy Industries Mahendra Nath Pandey presented the award at a ceremony organised at Vignan Bhavan in New Delhi.
On behalf of SCCL Chairman and Managing Director N Sridhar, Singareni General Manager K Nagabushan Reddy received the award. IEI president Narendra Singh said the SCCL bagged the award for maintaining high business standards. The SCCL is not only into the coal business but also into the 1,200 MW thermal and 300 MW solar power sectors.
