SCCL to host Company Level Cricket Tournament in Kothagudem

Singareni Coal Collieries Limited will host the Company Level Cricket Tournament at Kothagudem from December 16 to 18. Six teams will compete, and the winners will qualify for the Coal India inter company event. Officials are preparing facilities and accommodation for players.

Kothagudem: Singareni Coal Collieries Limited (SCCL) is going to host the Company Level Cricket Tournament in the Kothagudem area from December 16 to 18, informed the area General Manager M Shalem Raju.

AGM (Personnel) GV Mohan Rao, AGM (Civil) Ch Ramakrishna and other officials have been monitoring works such as playground levelling and setting up a floodlight facility for the day and night matches at Professor Jayashankar Stadium at Rudrampur.


Six teams, namely Kothagudem and Corporate, Yellandu and Manuguru, Bhupalapally, Ramagundam Region, Srirampur, Bellampally and Mandamarri, would take part in the cricket tournament.

The winning team in this tournament would be selected for the Coal India Inter Company Level Tournament. The officials have also been making accommodation facilities for the players taking part in the tournament
