Peddapalli: Trade unions at Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) have decided to launch a 72-hour strike from December 9 across its coal mines in protest against the Central government’s decision to privatise four coal blocks. All the trade unions including national unions organised a meeting in Godavarikhani on Tuesday in this regard and formed a Joint Action Committee to ensure the success of the strike scheduled on December 9, 10 and 11.
