School assistant suspended in Kothagudem after arrest in criminal case

A mathematics school assistant working at Government High School in Burgampadu, Kothagudem district, was suspended after being arrested in a criminal case. Officials said the action was taken as per CCA rules following directions from the District Educational Officer.

Kothagudem: A school assistant (Mathematics) M Nageswara Rao working at Government High School at Burgampadu in the district has been suspended.

MEO Yadusimharaju informed that suspension orders were issued following directions of District Educational Officer B Nagalakshmi as a criminal case was registered against Nageswara Rao.

The teacher was arrested in connection with the criminal case and was currently in judicial custody. Hence he was suspended in accordance with CCA rules, the MEO said.
