A mathematics school assistant working at Government High School in Burgampadu, Kothagudem district, was suspended after being arrested in a criminal case. Officials said the action was taken as per CCA rules following directions from the District Educational Officer.

The teacher job aspirants need to have at least 45 per cent of marks in either graduation or post-graduation as against the earlier 50 per cent.
